Since NikkieTutorials made her first ever appearance
on The Ellen Show, she’s opened up about why it wasn’t verything she dreamed it
would be.
Nikkie revealed that Ellen wasn’t as great as
she comes across on our TV screens, and now she’s spilling even more tea about
her unpleasant experience on the talk show.
Nikkie further explained how she was treated on
set and just how negative of an experience being on the show was for her.
Nikkie appeared on the Ellen show back in
January after she came out as transgender in an emotional video which got over
34 million views and was #1 trending on YouTube.
And like any of us would be, Nikkie was beyond excited
to be invited on Ellen DeGeneres show and was pumped to meet one of her idols.
The interview actually went well and they had
some sweet moments together on camera.
But it’s what happened off camera that turned Nikkie’s
experience on the show sour.
And this came as a shock to many fans,
considering Ellen’s slogan is literally “be kind to one another.”
Around a month after Nikkie’s Ellen interview, Nikkie
appeared on a talk show based in her home, The Netherlands, and she revealed
some not-so-kind information about her first meeting with Ellen.
Right off the bat, upon meeting the host of the
talk show, she threw some shade at Ellen when he asked what her experience was
like on the show, to which she replied saying quote “ It’s
really nice that you came over and
said hello to me… she didn’t.”
She also compared the Dutch show to her time on
Ellen, and she didn’t hold back Then when the Dutch interviewer asked for more
details, Nikkie revealed that the show felt like “a whole different world” and that
it felt “more distant.”
She also even revealed that Ellen was more cold
in person.
Nikkie said quote, “Just a little. It
was a huge honour to be on that stage with Ellen, but it wasn't as nice as I
thought.”
And now, Nikkie is speaking out again and spilling
even more tea about her experience on the Ellen show.
According to Pop Crave, Nikkie reportedly told
&C Magazine that the friendly, welcoming atmosphere you see when watching
"Ellen" isn't the reality in the studio.
When she was asked about the experience Nikkie said
quote, “Maybe I'm being naive, but I expected them to welcome me with confetti: 'Welcome to The Ellen DeGeneres Show!’
But instead I got greeted by an angry intern, who
was a bit overworked.
I expected a Disney show, but I got a
'Teletubbies'
after dark."
And she went on to explain that she didn't receive
the same VIP treatment as other celebrity guests.
Nikkie said quote, “Every guest at Ellen had a
private toilet, but I didn't.
I couldn't even use the closest toilet to me
because it was reserved for the Jonas Brothers.
They were allowed, but I wasn't.”
And interestingly enough, Nikkie’s video of her
interview on YouTube got a lot more views than the Jonas Brothers’ interview did.
Nikkie’s has over 9.2 million views while the
Jonas Brothers has 2.1 million views.
And when Nikkie was asked if she was happy with
how the interview turned out, she said quote, “For people who didn’t know me, it
was a good summary of my story.
But the people who did know me expected more.”
She also expressed wishing that she was just interviewed
by someone else.
But the biggest burn of all was when Nikkie was
asked what other bucket list celeb she would still want to meet?
She said quote, “Adele.
Even though after being on Ellen I
thought, to myself ‘don’t meet your idols’ haha.”

Nikkie’s latest interview.
One person wrote quote, “Regardless if Nikkie is
a celebrity or not, Ellen and her team should not treat their guests in such a
despicable manner.
The fact that she couldn't use a
restroom is insanely inhumane.”
So clearly fans are upset with Ellen and it doesn’t
look like Nikkie will be going back on her show any time soon.
