Naya Rivera's FINAL Plan Revealed!

Naya Rivera's FINAL plan Revealed!

Netflix has decided to release Naya Rivera’s last television show performance before her tragic death.
Fans of Naya Rivera will have the opportunity to see her in her final TV performance before her untimely death, as she previously shot an episode as a guest judge on season 3 of Netflix’s popular baking competition series “Sugar Rush.”

If you guys aren’t familiar with the show, “Sugar Rush” puts baking contestants to the test as they battle it out to make the best dessert dishes for a cash prize of $10,000.
Naya’s episode was filmed back in February before many production companies were forced to shut down due to the pandemic, and was just released with the entirety of Season 3 .

According to a report from Deadline, Netflix was on the fence about even airing the episode, but after consulting with Naya’s manager Gladys Gonzalez, who has been in close communication with her family, they ultimately decided to go ahead and release it.
Before Naya’s appearance, the episode features an on-screen tribute to her and NETFLIX dedicated the episode to her as well.
Appearing as one of the episode’s guest judges alongside regular judges, and professional chefs, Candace Nelson and Adriano Zumbo, Naya is as sweet and as genuine as ever before as she is able to simply just play herself.
At one point, Hunter asks if Naya is a baker, to which she adorably credits her 4-year-old son Josey for knowing how to bake.
This final role of simply playing herself is one that fans will always remember Naya for -- being a kind and sensitive soul as she lights up any room she enters.
Naya was pronounced missing on July 8th after renting a boat with her son, Josey, at Ventura County’s Lake Piru.

Authorities found her body in the lake five days later on July 13th, and earlier this week on the 24th her body was officially laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles.
According to People, Naya’s death certificate was filed in Ventura County, california, where she died, and also stated that she died “within a matter of minutes,” and that no other significant conditions contributed to her death.

Although so many of us fans continue to grapple with the fact that Naya is no longer with us, many were thankful to be able to see Naya and her infectious smile appear on television one last time, like this user who wrote, “The most beautiful soul today on Sugar Rush. So grateful to have seen Naya Rivera smile so much for the last first time.”

Naya was also set to star on the series “Step Up: High Water,” which was in the process of transitioning to Starz for its third season, however, filming had not yet begun at the time of her passing.
