Kim Jaejoong APOLOGIZES For a April fool's joke!
K-Pop star Kim jaejoong left fans
Furious after ' pranking ' them into thinking he tested positive for
Coronavirus only to later admit he was lying.
So basically the entire world was in a
Unanimous agreement that April Fool's Day, Which was yesterday in case anyone
forgot what day it was, should be cancelled on account of everything going on
in the world right now, and rightfully so.
However, K-Pop star Kim Jaejoong
apparently didn't the memo, and decided to ' prank ' his 2 million Instagram
followers.. in the worst way possible.
Jaejoong took to Instagram on
Wednesday to share a now-deleted photo of himself, along with a devastating
update regarding his and his family's health.
According to translato website Soompi,
his post said Quote " I have been infected with COVID-19. It is a result
of my negligence, ignoring the cautionary words shared by the government and
those around me. I am so sorry to those who may have been infected because of
me. My foolish judgment to Live as though it couldn't happen to me Is why I am
like this today. I am currently hospitalized. I am refling both grateful and
sorry. There are many things I want to say. There are many people I want to see
so much. ".
definitely not right or funny...
considering there are hundreds of thousands of people around the world suffering
right now with condition and even losing their lives.
Naturally , the post generated
thousands of comments from concerned fans in a matter of seconds, wishing him a
safe recovery and sending in their love and sympathy.
It didn't take long for Jaejoong to
realize that this prank had gone way too far, but before he deleted it entirely
and temporarily deactivated his account, he edited the caption to reveal that
he was not ill and that he did not consider this post a joke.
he said, " Although this did go
quite far for April Fool's Day, so many people worried about me in a short span
of time. I don't think of this as an April Fool's joke... It's never!! Just
someone else's problem. I wanted to tell you that protecting myself is protecting
the precious people around us. I will accept all punishment I receive from this
post. I hope all of you are healthy. "
Anyone else a little confused by this
statement? You're definitely not alone because fans began sending Jaejoong messages
out anger for even thinking something like this would be taken as a joke.
One user wrote, " He was joking. I
can't believe he was f**king making an April fool's joke, i am so f**king angry
at him right now. I almost had a panic attack because of this, Kim Jaejoong
what the f**. "
Another user suggested he take some
time away from the internet, tweeting, " Kim Jaejoong needs social media
distancing for now "
So clearly fans are not having it, so
much so, that it seems he might actually lose their loyalty, but do you guys
think this ' prank ' was enough for fans to not support him any longer, or has
he learned his lesson after owning up to his mistake ?
