 Lana Condor admits she was scared of singing

While we all know and love Lana Condor as an actress in To All Boy's I've Loved Before, fans recently learned that Lana also has an epic singing voice too.

But while she's an extremely talented singer, singing doesn't come as naturally to Lana, it's even made her feel traumatized.

In case you missed it, in February, Lana teamed up with her real-life musician boyfriend Anthony De La Torre for a heartfelt song called " Raining In London. ".

The song is featured on Anthony's recently released EP Find Me and we got to hear Lana's beautiful singing voice.

And while Lana totally sounded like a natural, she recently admitted that singing actually made her really nervous compared to acting where she's more comfortable.

Lana abd Anthony's song ultimately turned out incredible, but Lana revealed that recording the song in their closet in Ohio was actually super hard for her.

In a recent interview with Genius, Lana said Quote, " Actually singing on this track was a very difficult, traumatizing experience. I just felt so uncomfortable because it's not my thing that I do for a living. So, it was like pulling teeth to actually get me to do it and then finally, the last night we were recording, I just was like 'screw it' I just did it and I took off the headphones and just threw them.  ".

And despite not wanting to sing, Lana added that she's happy that she and Anthony got to work on this project together.

And along with the song Lana and Anthony also release a music video to go along with the track.

The music video tells the story of a fictional romance filled with fame and fights between an on-screen couple, played by Lana and Anthony.

And it certainly looked like Lana was in her element in the video.

and Lana's fans are totally here for her future potential music career.

We are just ready for more music from these two!

And on Anthony's page he shared a video of them doing another Tik Tok couple challenge .

He wrote quote, " Day 14 of quarantine ... This is what it's come to. ".

But on more serious note, Lana has also spoken out against President Donald Trump's decision to refer to COVID-19 as the "Chinese virus."

Even befor this, there was already a spike in hate crimes and discrimination against Asian Americans since the coronaviruse pandemic began earlier this year.

And Lana urged President Trump to "be better" than using racist language that offends and endangers so many.

And many of Lana's fans responded to her post echpoing her sentiments.

One person wrote quote, " Stay safe Lana, it's gonna be okay. i'm praying for your good. ".
